Study according age
The charts
show the main reasons for study among students of different age groups and the amount
of support they received from employers in the UK.
For the
people who are under 26yers old, the main reason for study is to improve their career;
the percentage is 80 and for those aged 26 to 29 the percentage is 70. For those
in their 30s just under 60% study for their careers people who are in their 40s
have equal numbers who study for interest as for career, it is only 40%. For
the over 49 age group 70% of people study for their interest while only 20%
study for career. Students under 26 receive the most employer support
which is over 60%. The lowest support is for those in their 30s, just over 30%.
Employer support starts to increase to nearly 40% for those in their 40s and
over 40% for those over 49.
The youngest
people study for their career and they are the group that gets most employer
support.
